Classic car restoration & maintenance

Introducing some of our ongoing car projects.

The vehicles described below are the key projects that we are currently working on. The restorations range from nut-and-bolt rebuilds, where the car has been stripped to the chassis, through to servicing and re-commissioning work, where key jobs identified by CRR or the customer, are attended to in our workshop. CRR can tackle vintage, classic and post-historic car restorations. Often these are staged rebuilds, designed to accomodate the customer's requirements (including budgets and timescales). We can also built kit- or component-cars to a customer's individual requirements, conforming to the latest licensing and approval regulations. CRR can also prepare and support competition cars, either historic or from more recent times.

Venues included Shelsley Walsh, Prescott, Silverstone and Goodwood. In 1955 he retired from racing, and the truck, trailer and the car were stored away until the late 1980s. The restoration of this racing car transporter began in earnest in 2007, and has continued ever since. Full story here (external link).
